Mohan Gyani

Mohan Gyani is a private investor and advisor with over 30 years of experience in the Telecom and Wireless industry. As former President and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T Wireless Mobility Services, he played a key role in the $10.6 Billion IPO of AT&T Wireless in 2000. He was instrumental in overseeing record growth, while completing the expansion of the company’s footprint across the U.S. and the build out of its nationwide next generation GSM network.

Previously, as Executive Vice President and CFO of AirTouch, Gyani was a key leader in the $120 Billion merger of AirTouch and Vodafone and the subsequent $70 Billion joint venture with Bell Atlantic that resulted in the creation of Verizon Wireless. Prior to the merger, he played a major financial, operational and strategic role in the company’s growth from a $1.6 Billion IPO in 1993 to a $70 Billion global company within five years.

Gyani sits on the Boards of numerous U.S. public companies including Keynote Systems, Safeway, MTS OJSC, Union Bank of California and SiRF Technologies. He is, or has been, on the Board of several other for-profit firms and non-profit organizations such as Handango, IDEA Cellular, Jasper Wireless, mFormation, Roamware, Tellme, CTIA and the GSM Association

Gyani completed his B.A in Business Administration and earned his MBA degree in Finance from San Francisco State University.

Ori Sasson

Ori Sasson is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience and success in leading start-up and established companies in all stages of their business. He has chaired and founded pioneering companies in enterprise software, wireless carrier services, global transportation logistics and managed services.

While a Partner at Apax Partners Worldwide LLP, Sasson focused on technology, telecommunications, and enterprise software. Previously, as President and CEO of Genesys Telecommunications, Sasson expanded the company’s global market reach, recruited a top-notch international management team, and managed the company’s acquisition by Paris-based Alcatel in January 2000 for approximately $1.6 billion.

Prior to Genesys, Sasson served as Chairman and CEO of Scopus Technology, a company he co-founded in 1991, from its inception, through a highly successful IPO, and until its merger with Siebel Systems in April 1998 which created what is now the second largest applications company in the world. Sasson has used his business savvy to advise many young companies and he has received numerous accolades, including the award for 1997 Bay Area Entrepreneur of the Year. Sasson sits on the boards of a number of technology companies including GT Nexus, Roamware and others.

Some of Sasson's notable past investments include Genesys, VMWare, VXtreme, Fandango, and Octane.

Sasson holds an MS in Operations Research and a BS in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Oren Zeev

Oren Zeev was at Apax Partners, one of the world’s leading Private Equity firms, from 1994 to 2007, serving as a partner since 1999. In his most recent position at Apax Partners, Zeev headed the Tech & Telecom Group in the U.S. and was a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Zeev has extensive experience investing in technology companies in the US and in Israel. In the recent years Zeev's focus has been on Internet applications and digital media. Prior to joining Apax Partners in 1994, Zeev was a Research Staff Member at the IBM Israel Science and Technology Center.

Zeev currently sits on the board of a number of technology companies including Chegg, Infolinks, Pictage Inc. and Galil software. Past investments include Audible (bought by Amazon), Mobixell Networks, Butterfly (bought by TI), Native Networks (bought by Alcatel), Commtouch (IPO), Tescom (IPO), Smartshopper (bought by Zango).

Zeev holds a BSc Cum Laude from the Technion in Israel, and an MBA with distinction from INSEAD in France.

Sharam Sasson

Sharam Sasson is a proven entrepreneur and experienced software executive, who has co-founded three exceptionally successful technology companies from their inception. His latest startup is Jitterbit , a data and application integration company. Prior to Jitterbit, Sasson was the founding CEO and Chairman of Extensity, an enterprise software company, which Sasson guided from inception to record-breaking Initial Public Offering and final acquisition by GEAC in 2003.

Sasson also co-founded Scopus Technology, Inc., the first provider of enterprise-wide customer relationship management software. During his tenure, Scopus achieved five consecutive years of profitable growth and an IPO. Scopus merged with Siebel Systems in 1998.

Sasson possesses a solid engineering background from his early work as a research scientist at Lockheed Missile and Aerospace Corporation, and as a developer of structural modeling software at PMB/Bechtel Corporation. He holds a master's degree in engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.S.C. from Queen Mary College, University of London.
